Kim has been a dedicated Registered Nurse since 2015. Her journey began at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, AB, where she initially worked in the Medical Teaching Unit/Internal Medicine. In this role, she managed complex medical cases, collaborated with interdisciplinary teams, and provided comprehensive patient education.
In 2016, Kim transitioned to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Foothills Medical Centre. Here, she cared for micro-premature infants and those requiring advanced respiratory support. As a Level III trained nurse and a Charge Nurse since 2019, Kim demonstrated exceptional leadership and clinical expertise. She excels in conducting thorough assessments, prioritizing patient care, and working closely with families to provide education and support.
After living in Calgary for years, Kim decided to return to her hometown of Kelowna in 2023. This move reflects Kim’s deep-rooted values of family and community, which she brings to her professional life as well.
Kim is gentle, caring, and calm, often using humour to maintain a positive outlook. She thrives in leadership roles, as seen in her career and volunteer work, and she is passionate about teaching and mentoring others.
Outside of work, Kim loves spending time with her family engaging in activities like swimming, dog walking and enjoying the great Okanagan outdoors. She enjoys reading for personal development, focusing on parenting, self-improvement and entrepreneurial books.
Kim was excited to join Lakeshore Vein & Aesthetics Clinic because of her commitment to professional development and creating a positive environment for both staff and clients. She believes in the clinic’s holistic approach to healthcare, combining medical procedures with aesthetics to enhance clients’ natural beauty and boost their confidence and mental health.
