Duane’s primary focus is to ensure that patients at the clinic receive exceptional care and that staff members are passionate about their work. As the overseer of the clinic’s business operations, he is dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence by mentoring the team to reach their full potential both personally and professionally. He directs the clinic’s strategic planning and execution.
Duane has over 25 years of experience in IT/business consulting, online/interactive marketing, small business ownership, and medical practice management. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta (UofA). For the past 10 years, Duane has invested in leadership and personal development with courses from Queen’s University to Darren Hardy to mindfulness meditation.
Born in White Rock, BC, as the middle child of three, his excellent and long-suffering parents did very well raising him – given what they had to work with. A lifelong adventurer, Duane has lived in and traveled to many parts of the world, including Australia, New Zealand, Russia, China, England, Germany, France, Italy, Kenya, Uganda, Spain, South Africa and more. He has made many invaluable connections and acquired valuable life skills throughout his journey. Most importantly, he is a devoted father to his wonderful family. Any given day you may find him trail running far or mountain biking hard in the beautiful Okanagan.
