Cynosure Elite Plus Laser Treatment

The number of sessions required with the Cynosure Elite Plus laser varies greatly, depending on the specific condition being treated, the extent of correction needed, and individual skin types. With its dual capabilities, Nd:YAG mode for veins and Alexandrite mode for brown spots, a tailored approach is key. With the Cynosure Elite Plus laser treatment, some results can be visible immediately, particularly in treatments targeting pigmentation and veins. However, the full effects often unfold over subsequent weeks as the skin rejuvenates and heals, revealing a more radiant and even complexion with each passing day. 

A 2 or 3D facial consists of 2 or 3 treatments at once as combination therapy. For instance a 2D facial would consist of a laser skin renewal treatment combined with an IPL or Radio frequency. A 3D facial would consist of 3 different technologies stacked together to combine the treatments for longer lasting results. 

Pulses of light and or laser energy are delivered deep into the layers of the skin, targeting undesirable skin imperfections like sun damage or wrinkles. Once the energy is absorbed, your body’s natural healing process will begin creating refreshed, healthy looking skin. Generally, they are minimal, such as temporary redness or mild sensitivity. The Elite laser contains the Nd: YAG (1064 nm wavelength) and the Alexandrite (755nm wavelength). The Nd:YAG is the wavelength that targets veins. The Alexandrite is the wavelength that helps correct browns (pigmentation). 

To increase your comfort, a topical anesthetic cream can be applied to the treatment area a half-hour before the procedure, but in most cases we have not found this necessary. 

The patient is given safety goggles to wear as eye protection against the laser light, and then the hand piece is placed gently over the area to be treated. The laser pulse is then applied, feeling much like the snapping of a rubber band on the skin.
