Lakeshore Vein & Aesthetics Clinic welcomes Dr. Julie Parker
Dr. Parker received her Bachelor of Science with Distinction from the University of Victoria in 1995, and then received her Medical Doctorate from the University of Calgary in 1999.
Dr. Parker completed her residency training in Family Medicine through UBC in 2001, followed by a six month fellowship in Women’s Health through BC Women’s Hospital and UBC.
She practiced family medicine in the BC Lower Mainland from 2002 – 2008, and then returned to her hometown of Kelowna with her family.
She joined the Lakeshore Vein & Aesthetics Clinic (part-time) in 2010, with ongoing training in skin- and vein-related disease and treatment.
Dr. Julie Parker continues to practice family medicine, obstetrics and surgical assisting, with privileges at Kelowna General Hospital. She will be actively involved with the UBC Okanagan Southern Medical School starting in 2012.
