LAKESHORE VEIN & AESTHETICS CLINIC WELCOMES DR. henry docherty
Dr. Henry Docherty joined the practice of Drs Bentley and Wong, Lakeshore Vein & Aesthetics Clinic, in mid April 2011, with a special interest in Skin Cancer medicine and the assessment and management of pigmented lesions.
He did his undergraduate degree at the University of Glasgow, UK, and completed family practice training in the Forth Valley, Scotland. MBChB is the equilavent of an MD. Following this, Dr. Docherty worked as a family doctor in Slave Lake, AB for four years.
Dr. Docherty has been a Family Physician in Kelowna since 1988 and currently works at the Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior where he will continue to work part time.
He is a Fellow of the College of Family Practitioners of Canada, current chair of the Canadian Association of General Practitioners in Oncology (CAGPO) and in the process of completing a Masters of Medicine in Family Practice Skin Cancer (with training in Dermoscopy) through the University of Queensland.
