Dr. Mandy Wong and several staff from Lakeshore Vein & Aesthetics Clinic are going again to Honduras. "It helps the local people, and it is good for us to be there," says Dr. Wong, adding "It supports the essence of being in medicine, to help those in need." In addition, it has further impact: Dr. Wong continues: "My son is coming with me, and my nurse with two of her sons, so it's a valuable learning trip for them and a good time together."
They go to help the Honduran people via the Hackett Hemwall Foundation's service mission trips to emerging nations. This volunteer not-for-profit trip is the fourth trip for the clinic: Drs Wong & Bentley have both been before.
